This polyurethane adhesive sealant is the BEST! When it comes to replacement trailer .030 aluminum sheets and replacement 2mm ACM trailer sheets, we recommend using this adhesive sealant. Some manufacturers use VHB tape to bond sheets to both the frame and overlapping joint – but this adhesive is easier to work with. Polyurethane adhesive sealants are NOT all the same, this adhesive has high elasticity and flows well – making it easy to work with and install. Do not buy cheap adhesive sealants – they will not last. VHB tape does not allow for minor sheet adjustment once installed, adhesive sealant does.
Application temperature must be +5°C to +35°C (+41°F to +95°F). Skin formation time is 45 – 60 minutes. Dry in 1-2 hours and fully cured in 2.5-24 hrs. Be aware that curing time make take longer pending temperature and moisture levels.
